Upon the first visit you will be asked to fill out some paperwork. When you are finished you will be shown a brief 5 minute video explaining some of the basic principles of chiropractic. After the video the doctor will bring you into his office and discuss your condition. This will be a good opportunity for you to discuss any medical concerns that you may have, feel free to ask plenty of questions. When the doctor feels that he has a good picture of your history he will perform a thorough physical examination, focusing on your area of complaint. You will need to remove any sweatshirts or jackets but disrobing will not be required. Depending upon the examination findings, treatment may begin immediately or further testing may be ordered. When you return for your next visit the doctor will sit down with you and explain his findings and if further testing (i.e. Xray, MRI) was performed, he will also explain these results. After reviewing the examination findings, a detailed report will be presented with treatment recommendations.
